We finally get the return of the NFL with the Hall of Fame game kicking off tomorrow night August 3rd at 5pm PT. There's a lot of history in this game, first getting played back in 1962 and although the way teams have been selected for this game has changed over the years all 32 teams have at least 1 appearance and they have generally been a pretty close game. It may only be the preseason but after what felt like a long off season it's nice to see teams lace'em up and step back out on the field. These next few weeks are always a good watch to see some of those camp surprises while teams start trimming their rosters from the 90 they are currently sitting at down to 53 for week one. This match-up between the Jets and Browns won't have much star power but being 6 months removed from the final snap in the Super Bowl I'm looking forward to the season getting under way and HBO also ends up a winner as well because their Hard Knocks series will get an extra preseason game being centered around the Jets this year. Now that the wait is over it doesn't matter whether you are a casual fan, fantasy player or analyst, football fans are ready for the104th year of the NFL.
